Children’s Cancer Connection offers over 60 camps, programs and outing to families impacted by pediatric cancer that require various supplies, toys and activities! Our Amazon wish list highlights items needed for our Courage Store. The in-hospital Courage Store is stocked with toys and prizes that oncology patients can “shop for” with pretend money they have earned as they’ve navigated challenging milestones of their treatment.

Snacks

Snack donations are also welcome to keep our kids and teens fueled for all the fun! Chips, crackers, fruit snacks and other individually packaged NUT-FREE snacks can be dropped off at the office or shipped to CCC’s address above.

Fleece Blankets

Children’s Cancer Connection is also in need of tie fleece blankets to help make camp and our programs cozy! Each camper receives a blanket on their bunk at camp…that’s over 300 tie blankets! Blankets can be dropped off at the CCC office during business hours (see above). A few tips when making blankets:

• Blankets should be a minimum of 52×60 in size. If they are bigger, that’s great! 
• All fabric needs to be new and recently purchased.
• A variety of fabric patterns are encouraged. Our campers vary in age from 5 to 18 so having fabric patterns that would fit this spectrum is helpful. Some character (or very age-specific patterns) are great but we often struggle to find blankets that are appropriate for teens boys and girls.
