Camp Director – Join Our Team!

Are you passionate about creating unforgettable camp experiences for kids and families affected by pediatric cancer? Children’s Cancer Connection (CCC) is looking for a Camp Director to bring energy, organization, and heart to our Camp Heart Connection programs.

The Camp Director will be responsible for planning, implementing and attending Camp Heart Connection programs for the children and families we serve (including both sleep-away and day camps).  The Camp Director will ensure that all camp programs follow best practices and meet quality requirements to maintain Gold Ribbon accreditation by the Children’s Oncology Camping Association (COCA).  This position will also be responsible for the recruitment, selection, training and management of volunteer staff necessary to run the camp programs. As a full-time, year-round position, this individual will be based out of the CCC office on Johnston, IA. Additional responsibilities will include supporting other CCC programs, alongside the program manager.

Salary Range – $45,000-$55,000
