
Incidental Medical Malpractice Coverage
Children’s Cancer Connection provides Incidental Medical Malpractice Coverage for volunteer medical professionals (paramedics, emergency medical technicians, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses or nursing assistants) who participate in any or all CCC programs and events. This coverage is designed to protect you in the event that a patient is injured during the course of receiving medical treatment.
Services covered under this policy:
- Incidental medical malpractice services, including medical, surgical, dental, laboratory, x-ray, nursing or similar human health services, treatments, advice or instruction; the related furnishing of food or beverages; or the furnishing or dispensing of drugs or medical, dental, or surgical supplies or appliances.
- First aid
- Good Samaritan services (medical services rendered at the scene of an emergency for which no remuneration is demanded or received)
