Eligible Iowa families who are undergoing active treatment are referred by their healthcare team. Children’s Cancer Connection’s Holiday Drop-Off is an annual program for CCC kids ages 5-12 to connect with one another. This event also gives parents a chance to recharge or go holiday gift shopping while kids make holiday-themed crafts, decorate cookies, drink hot chocolate and enjoy each other’s company! Holiday Drop-Off is Saturday, December 5th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The IMT Des Moines Marathon is Sunday, October 18 — and CCC is proud to be the marathon’s 2026 charity. Camp Heart Connection’s Teen Camp is a truly special experience offered to all teens served by CCC. CCC recognizes that our teens face unique medical and emotional challenges, and they build strength from being together during their journeys.
