Children’s Cancer Connection’s Holiday Drop-Off is an annual program for CCC kids and teens to connect with one another. This event also gives parents a chance to recharge or go holiday gift shopping while kids make holiday-themed crafts, decorate cookies, drink hot chocolate and enjoy each other’s company! We will offer two sessions with meals provided on December 6th. Session
CCC is the official charity partner of the IMT Des Moines Marathon and together with IMT Insurance, over $60,000 has been raised to support our families affected by pediatric cancer. Each year, CCC’s Winter Wishes program serves families across Iowa affected by childhood cancer who could use a little extra joy during the holiday season. Eligible Iowa families who are undergoing active treatment are referred by their healthcare team. Camp Heart Connection’s Teen Camp is a truly special experience offered to all teens served by CCC. CCC recognizes that our teens face unique medical and emotional challenges, and they build strength from being together during their journeys. Teen Camp allows teens who are on or off treatment as well as siblings to come together for a weekend of camp
