The Des Moines Concours d’Elegance™ is a premier automotive exhibition held at the John and Mary Pappajohn Sculpture Park in downtown Des Moines on Sunday, Sept. 7th. CCC is the official charity partner of Concours.
Here’s what you can expect:
- 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Des Moines Concours d’Elegance (Grand and Locust between 12th and 16th Streets)
- FREE to the public – however, FREE WILL donations may be made and are encouraged to help Concours cover costs and proceeds after expenses benefit Children’s Cancer Connection
- Exhibit of more than 100 cars
- Midway featuring food, merchandise and service vendors
- A radio-controlled car race track, photo booth and more for the entire family!
- Car Clubs from Des Moines area showcasing cars from members (west of 16th Street on Grand)
- CCC youth will be guest judges! (Email the Programs Team if you want to be a judge.)
- 2:45 p.m. Star Car Presentations
- 3 p.m. Grand Awards Presentation: Join us at 13th and Grand for the presentation of Class Winners and Best of Show.
- 4 p.m. Roar at 4: Listen as cars fire up their engines to leave the showfield. Have your camera ready!
