DESCRIPTION:***Due to health concerns during the COVID-19 pandemic\, all Camp Heart Connection camps’ dates and structures are subject to change in accordance to any decisions made by the Children’s Cancer Connection Medical Committee\, comprised of medical professionals from both Blank Children’s Hospital and the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital\, and the Children’s Cancer Connection staff. Stay up to date with any changes by checking our website or social media.*** \n \nOncology Camp provides children with cancer a week of summer camp activities and so much more. Campers are able to spend time with others who are going through the same emotions as they are. Returning campers who are off treatment provide hope to our new campers\, and nobody has to worry about not fitting in due to scars or hair loss.
