SUMMARY:Teen Camp
DESCRIPTION:Camp Heart Connection’s Teen Camp is a truly special experience offered to all teens served by CCC. CCC recognizes that our teens face unique medical and emotional challenges\, and they build strength from being together during their journeys. Teen Camp allows teens who are on or off treatment as well as siblings to come together for a weekend of camp activities. They get to meet new friends and visit with existing ones. Activities include blacklight dodgeball\, ziplining\, archery tag and more! \n2024 Teen Camp will be held October 17-19 at Twin Lakes Camp in Manson\, Iowa. CCC will provide bus transportation to and from the CCC office in Johnston. Please note: we will not be stopping by Iowa City. \nPlease reach out to camp@ccciowa.org with any questions. \nTeen Camp volunteers must be 21 or older. Teens with cancer and their siblings have unique medical and emotional challenges that are different from young children and adults.
