All caregivers are welcome to attend\, regardless of treatment outcome of the child. Comfort Connection occurs every other month and consists of gatherings at the CCC office in Johnston\, as well as fun outings throughout the Des Moines metro area. \nRegistration is required. DESCRIPTION:Children’s Cancer Connection’s Holiday Drop-Off is an annual program for teens ages 13 – high school seniors to connect with one another. This event also gives parents a chance to recharge or go holiday gift shopping while teens make holiday-themed crafts\, decorate cookies\, drink hot chocolate and enjoy each other’s company! This Holiday Drop-Off event will end in a teen lock-in! \nCCC teens (oncology and siblings) ages 13 through graduating high school seniors are invited to the lock-in at the Jeff and Deb Hansen Home for Hope. After the Holiday Drop-Off fun will include dinner\, way too many snacks\, games\, conversation and maybe some sleep.
