SUMMARY:2026 Spring Day Camp
DESCRIPTION:Day Camp is for both the child diagnosed with cancer and siblings ages 5-12. Days are filled with summer fun and spending time with friends at the Jeff and Deb Hansen Home for Hope in Johnston and throughout the Des Moines Metro. Kids enjoy a healthy mix of activities at CCC as well as field trips to places such as the Blank Park Zoo\, the Science Center of Iowa and more. CCC staff packs in all sorts of fun without the overnight stay! \nThe 2026 Spring Day Camp will be held March 16-20. DESCRIPTION:Children’s Cancer Connection’s Holiday Drop-Off is an annual program for teens ages 13 – high school seniors to connect with one another. This event also gives parents a chance to recharge or go holiday gift shopping while teens make holiday-themed crafts\, decorate cookies\, drink hot chocolate and enjoy each other’s company! This Holiday Drop-Off event will end in a teen lock-in! \nCCC teens (oncology and siblings) ages 13 through graduating high school seniors are invited to the lock-in at the Jeff and Deb Hansen Home for Hope. After the Holiday Drop-Off fun will include dinner\, way too many snacks\, games\, conversation and maybe some sleep.
