SUMMARY:Comfort Connection
DESCRIPTION:Comfort Connection is a time for caregivers of an oncology child to connect with others that are on a similar journey. All caregivers are welcome to attend\, regardless of treatment outcome of the child. Comfort Connection occurs every other month and consists of gatherings at the CCC office in Johnston\, as well as fun outings throughout the Des Moines metro area. \nRegistration is required. \n2025 October Event \nCome for some friendly trivia competition\, yummy food and time together at Backpocket Pin & Pixel. We will (casually) participate in the bar-wide trivia and have dinner together. Arrive by 5:45 PM\, trivia starts at 6! \nChildcare will be provided at the CCC office\, starting at 5:30 PM for those that need it. \nREGISTER HERE> \nVolunteers ages 16 and up are needed to assist with childcare.
