Each attendee will receive two drink tokens provided by CCC\, and some food items will be available throughout the evening. Registration is required. \nPlease note that childcare will NOT be available for this month’s outing. \nComfort Connection is a time for caregivers of an oncology child to connect with others that are on a similar journey. All caregivers are welcome to attend\, regardless of treatment outcome of the child. SUMMARY:Youth Art Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden is hosting a Youth Art Workshop specifically for CCC youth! There are no age restrictions. \nThis workshop is part of the Community Mural Project in which youth create art with a local Des Moines artist. Each art piece will be combined with others to make one big cohesive mural that will be on display at the Botanical Center. Each child’s individual art piece will also be printed and put on display as well. \nFamilies who participate in this workshop will be invited back to the Botanical Center on April 22\, 2023 during the Garden’s Earth Day celebration in which the mural will be unveiled.
