Chips\, crackers\, fruit snacks\, mini donuts and such yummy options are greatly appreciated. \nStaff will also accept Camp Wish List items during those times. DESCRIPTION:With the Jeff and Deb Hansen Home for Hope currently closed for renovations\, CCC has been asking our generous supporters to hold on to snack and wish list donations for future delivery. While we are still closed\, staff will be stationed outside of the building on the following days and times to accept donation drop-offs from 8-10 a.m. and 4-6 p.m. on April 26 and May 16. \nAhead of the May 5-7 Spring Family Camp as well as June Oncology Camp\, CCC needs LOTS OF snack donations! If you’re interested in donating snacks\, please drop off NUT-FREE goodies (also not manufactured in a warehouse with nuts) to CCC at 5701 Greendale Road in Johnston during the times listed above. Chips\, crackers\, fruit snacks\, mini donuts and such yummy options are greatly appreciated. \nStaff will also accept Camp Wish List items during those times. A full list of Camp Heart Connection Wish List items can be found here.  To browse Amazon Wish Lists\, visit the general camp needs list or the arts and crafts-specific needs list. Please\, at this time\, do not ship donations to the Jeff and Deb Hansen Home for Hope. SUMMARY:Youth Art Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden is hosting a Youth Art Workshop specifically for CCC youth! There are no age restrictions. \nThis workshop is part of the Community Mural Project in which youth create art with a local Des Moines artist. Each art piece will be combined with others to make one big cohesive mural that will be on display at the Botanical Center. Each child’s individual art piece will also be printed and put on display as well. \nFamilies who participate in this workshop will be invited back to the Botanical Center on April 22\, 2023 during the Garden’s Earth Day celebration in which the mural will be unveiled.
