SUMMARY:Fall Family Camp
DESCRIPTION:The 2027 Fall Family Camp will be held at the Boone Y Camp September 24-26. Registration opens August 1 and closes September 3 or until spots fill! CCC is hosting the overnight component and then UIDM is taking over for day camp on Sunday! \nThe whole family gets to join the fun for a weekend at Family Camp. The relaxing getaway includes traditional camp activities\, sightseeing\, campfires\, s’mores and precious quality time together. It’s also great for younger kids to experience Family Camp before attending other CCC camps on their own. DESCRIPTION:Join Children’s Cancer Connection at the Jeff and Deb Hansen Home for Hope for this month’s Kids Club! Kids Club is geared toward CCC children ages 5-12\, but any oncology or sibling participant is welcome. From 10 a.m. to noon\, children are welcome to join in on creative projects in CCC’s art area\, often joined by volunteers from the Des Moines Art Center! When crafts are done\, play with toys or video games\, climb on the Variety Star Playground or Sport Court\, and make new friends. Kids Club is held one Saturday of every month. \nRegistration is required and cuts off the Friday before each Kids Club at 12 p.m. \nVolunteers ages 16+ can see shift availability and/or sign up through the CCC volunteer platform. \n\n  \n***This is a private event for Children’s Cancer Connection families only.*** \nRegister HERE →
